Jasper High School choir students in Plano, Texas, under the direction of Judy Putney, took part in the National Anthem Project and celebrated Constitution Day in September. The celebration was quickly moved indoors because of rain, but the song echoed loudly throughout the halls. Thomas Elementary School 
Thomas Elementary School in Plano, Texas honored guests from every branch of the military, their U.S. Congressman—Vietnam veteran and former prisoner of war, Sam Johnson, and many parents and local leaders. Teacher Donna Bassett led the singing at this, her first National Anthem Day at Thomas Elementary. |
