Clark Wood Elementary School in Elkland, Pennsylvania participated in National Anthem Day by gathering in front of the school with teachers, administrators, yearbook and newspaper reporters, and singing the National Anthem. The week prior to September 14, teacher Heather McClaren talked with classes about the importance of "The Star-Spangled Banner." 
Mansfield High School 
Led by teacher Scott Faust, Jubilation Singers at Mansfield High School, Mansfield, Pennsylvania sang the National Anthem on the morning announcements at school and shared a lesson with a local pre-school on the importance and history of "The Star-Spangled Banner." 
W. G. Rice Elementary School 
On September 14, 600 students from W. G. Rice Elementary School in Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania participated in the National Anthem Day celebration directed by music specialist, Mark Romig. |
