Iowa Emerson Elementary School Marion High School McKinstry Elementary School Sunnyside Elementary School  At Emerson Elementary School, the entire student body stood outside at the flagpole to sing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” led by music teacher Kelli Isder. Beforehand, a few of the 3rd grade students read some facts about our anthem and about Francis Scott Key and the Kindergarten students sang a song about the 3 colors on the flag.
