Finley Road Elementary and music teacher Terri Westphal had the proclamation read from Mayor Doug Echols, by Mayor Pro-Tem (Kathy Pender) at their celebration. An American Flag was flown, which was sent to them by military from Iraq.
















Linda Beck, choral director at Furman Middle School directed the children in "A Salute to the Armed Forces" as well as our National Anthem. They even contacted Shaw Air Force Base to have F-16s fly over during the event.












Diana Pauley and the students of North Vista Elementary School celebrated from September 11th-15th, Patriotic Character “Wild” School Spirit Week.


Ruthy Filchak is the music teacher at Plantersville Elementary School.




Sedalia W. Hunt is the music teacher at Roebuck Elementary School.


Students of Woodland Heights Elementary School sang and gave information to the school during morning announcements. At 9:00am, Dr. Dianne Pitts class sang the National Anthem at the flagpole under the direction of their music teacher, Mrs. June Sereque.
