They portrayed characters that lived during 1814. The skit explained what was happening in history during this time and why Francis Scott Key wrote the poem. We had a power point presentation to go along with this showing each phrase of the song and the characters explained what the phrase meant. At 9:00 the entire school - over 500 students and adults - sang the National Anthem together. Back to States map
