All students grades K-12 of Brownell-Talbot College Prep School met at the flagpole at 9AM. Our headmaster read portions of NE Governor Dave Heineman's "National Anthem Day Proclamation" and a little history of the anthem before Judy Hartwig led the song. A very nice "aside" happening regards the workmen who are busy building our new athletic center...as planned they ceased using their noisy tools during the ceremony BUT instead of "taking a break", they removed their hardhats and joined our song.
