The music teacher, Robert Miller planned an event at Kitty Hawk Elementary School to celebrate National Anthem Day en masse in our auditorium. We started the singing at precisely 9 a.m. EST using an atomic clock for accuracy. Orchard Park Elementary School 
For the third year in a row, Orchard Park Elementary School has celebrated National Anthem Day! With the entire student body gathered in the auditorium, students, staff, and honored guests sang "The Star Spangled Banner" together. Honored guests this year included members of the Kettering VFW as well as parents, family members, and neighbors in the community who are currently serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces. Each of the guests' names were read aloud - and the school was presented with the Patriot's Award from the President of the Kettering VFW. The music teacher is Diane DuVal. Back to States map |
