Hunter's Creek Middle School celebrated a week long National Anthem Project with a culminating event. Mayor Richard Crotty signed and sealed a proclaimation stating that 9/12/08 would be National Anthem Day in Orange County, FL. We had commissioners, Arts council Directors, OCPS Superintendant of Schools, Veterans, School Board members, community members, faculty, staff and students part of this fabulous celebration. The greatest moment was ending the program by having our band & orchestra accompany 1500 people singing The National Anthem. Their Fine Arts Curriculum Leader is Susan Brown. Back to States map |
