Tolsia High School Choral Music Department in Fort Gay, W.Va. conducts a National Anthem Assembly the morning of September 14th. The principal opens up the ceremony followed by the U.S. Army recruters presenting the colors while our chorus and Select Ensemble sang the verses of the Star Spangled Banner. Students from the Beta Club and national honor society spoke about the history of the song and how we should show respect to our flag and our country. This was followed by a power point on the national anthem which hade seens of soldiers fighting in Iraq and other places around the world. The assembly was very moving and insperational.
