My college choir just returned from singing at the National Memorial Day Parade and we were just about ready to sing our 4 part harmony version of the Natioal Anthem when we were told that Miss Teenage USA was going to sing it in stead...our choir has sung this song approx. 20 or more times and it always brings down the house but then this girl in a blue dress comes along and tries to sing it for all the families of personel serving over seas...AND SHE SANG THIS GREATEST SONG EVER....FLAT!!!! We finally had to back her up on "God Bless America" cause she isn't so good and we really are because we sing with passion and pride, so we did get to see the planes fly by and the flags raised to us singing...but still if you want to spread the word on how to sing this great song...try letting the little choirs sing it...not these fly by night pagent winners..but those who have workked hard to sing it with all there might.
